Wrong vehicle number, expired validity, and the Part-B nobody fills.
Three mistakes account for most e-way bill detentions.
One: Part-B left blank. The bill is not valid for movement without it.
Two: validity expired mid-transit and nobody extended it. You can extend, but only within eight hours of expiry.
Three: the vehicle number on the bill does not match the vehicle at the checkpoint, because the transporter swapped it and nobody updated the portal.
All three are avoidable in under two minutes.
